I've gotten some comments/emails about this 30 for 30 business we're attempting in January.
(Uh that's five days away. WTF!!!!!!!????!!!1)
Here are le deets:
Rule 1: There are no rules.
All you have to do is make 30 outfits out of 30 pieces of clothing. Or hell, use non-clothing if it makes you happy. A 30 for 30 with trash bags and bearskin rugs is a 30 for 30 I'd like to see. ... aaaand I'm rambling.
I include shoes, I don't include accessories (scarves, jewelry, bags) or outerwear (winter coats, rain boots). Do whatever makes you feel all tingly inside. And if it takes you more than 30 days, totally fine. No one wins, no one gets kicked out.

Shopping bans are optional, but after my budgeting debacle this month, mine is somewhat less than optional. Think somewhere between "oxygen" and "deodorant."
That's literally it.

Possibly overboard. Probably creepy. But hey, credit where it's due, yes?

Sam, I am right now putting all my stuff togehter that I am going to wear. I just wish I wuold have the app that comes with the cake to make that 30x30 collage. Unfortunately I didnt bring my cpu with me and Eric doesnt have a photoshop with which I always do my collage "Bummer". Any ideas how to solve this problem? :-)

I can't help with your missing cable BUT I use pixlr.com instead of photoshop and I love it! Use it if you're in a pinch for sure!

I'm a new follower and missed this when you did it in November, but am already looking forward to doing this in January -- even though it does for me mean giving up buying any new clothes. DeleteDang it, I just realized that I did not bring my cable to transfer all the pics on the cpu from my cam:-(. I guess the luck is not with me this time. I will def join you next time when I am in Germany, I dont even have a photo editing program to do the collages from here. BUT with all excitement I will follow you great 30x30 along Sam :-)

DeleteI feel like you'd be so proud...I picked some pieces and created a spreadsheet with outfit ideas and decided I can do this. Plus I loved your first 30 for 30! Count me in!! :) Christmas shopping put me in a position where that shopping ban may be necessary for me too. Great idea! haha
