I understand JUST ABOUT NOTHING in this post because, hey, not a lawyer (& not trying to be one, either), but I do like & always appreciate some good pop culture-based gifs. So well done, madame, & congrats on being done!
ReplyDeleteYou're baaaaaack! And fully armed with gifs. Me likey.
ReplyDeleteWhile you were rocking the bar exam, the husband and I came back from France, I started coaching middle school cross country and today, you'll see how terrible I am while taking pictures of myself with the 10 second timer on my DSLR.
ReplyDeleteSo happy the bar is over for you!!!
Yes. All of these are true! Except I know nothing about surface water. Congrats on being DONE!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I can't even imagine what you're going through! This post is hilarious though!
ReplyDeletei'm not studying for the bar but i am studying for the cpa exam so i totally relate to all the exam stress. congrats on finishing!
ReplyDeleteYou've missed me SPENDING MONEY LIKE CRAZY!! yeah, budget was blown.
ReplyDeleteIn blogland you missed probably the same sh!t, different day :)
I missed your posts and your gifs - wooooohooo for bringing them back! Congrats for surviving!!!
So glad the craziness is over for you!! At least for now...gooooooo have some fun!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to be a lawyer for most of my childhood, and then I worked for lawyers, and it seemed like more school and studying than I was interested in, so I have so much respect for anyone who actually does it!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!! I don't know the bar exam....but am entirely too familiar with medical licensing exams and feel that I can relate: enjoy being done!!!
ReplyDeleteI really love your blog... I'm thinking about law school and the more I read your blog the more I want to do it... weird, right?!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being finished!! What a sweet way to celebrate :)

LOL @ Target being the happiest place on earth. I was like "$25 to Disneyland?"
ReplyDeleteGlad you've got the bar behind you and are back in blogland :) the closest I can relate to the bar is the SAT or an AP test... so not at all.
I LOVE whatshouldwecallme! And I also love the use of a Kel in Good Burger gif, haha. Also, a big and super enthusiastic YAYYYY for no more bar exam! Don't you wish you could be like that guy on that USA show Suits? Have you ever watched that show? What do actual law-ish people think about it?!
ReplyDeleteI left this window open while I went to do laundry, and the Rafflecopter says "zzz, this widget fell asleep." Is it weird that I find a sleeping widget cute? Aww.
Love these GIFs, even though I have no clue about anything law-related (English teacher, here). We go back to school this week, soo....that kind of sucks. That's all I got.
ReplyDeletejust caught up on my blog reading - you haven't missed much!
ReplyDeletegood to have you back! I don't have any war stories, but all the gifs are extremely accurate. I will say it's almost statistically impossible that you failed. Youre going to think about it and have nightmares (probably) for a few weeks. then you'll forget about the bar for a few weeks. and then for about 2 weeks before you find out if you passed you'll get the nightmares again, lol. it's a process!
ReplyDeleteI think you found every single one of the most awesome GIFs and compiled them into a post of awesomeness. You're a damn hoot, and I'm glad you're back!
ReplyDeleteI randomly just thought of the line from Liar Liar when Jim Carey's character screams into the phone, "Quit breaking the law, ASSHOOOOOLE!" I hope you know that part, or this is awkward.

Haha so #2 and #1 were my favorite. I don't know anything about law, so I didn't relate to most of that. But just from what I've heard from your comments, it sounds IN-mf-SANE!! Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being finished! I took NJ and NY. It was horrible. let's drink.
ReplyDeleteYay for finishing the bar! I'm seriously amazed that you still had time to blog when you were studying, and especially taking pictures of your clothes and putting them online AND WHERE ARE THE TOPS THAT YOU PROMISED? Anyway, you haven't missed much in blog land. People are still wearing clothes, believe it or not!
ReplyDeleteGIRL! YOU'RE DONE!!!! Woohooo!!! As far as blog land is concerned, you haven't missed a whole lot, but we missed your whitty stories and pictures of your adorable pups! Welcome back!!!

ReplyDeleteI haven't taken the bar exam, as I'm only working on my PhD in philosophy, but I do love these gifs :) Congrats on getting over this ginormous hurdle!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you made it through! There have been lots of blog sales, tons of fall planning, and the usual fashion posts in blogland!

ReplyDeleteGinny
aaaah, What Should We Call Me is the greatest website. besides your blog, of course. congrats on being done with your exam!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! and so glad the exam is over
ReplyDeleteWell done on being done with your exam!
ReplyDeleteWow!! Way to go, Sam! I have my comprehensive exams for my Master's program in the spring, but I'm pretty sure they'll be less intense than the Bar exam - whew! I have a few high school friends who took the Bar recently as well, and I don't envy them AT ALL. So much work, so much pressure...yucky! Best of luck to you - I hope you can get tons of relaxing done, now that you can!! :)
