Under Armor: Dick's Sporting Goods | Cowboys sweatshirt: Football Fanatics | Tank: Target | Jeans: Victoria's Secret | Boots: Report | Bag: Coach | Necklace: BaubleBar x Atlantic-Pacific
Having been raised as my father's only son, tomboy is a wee bit of an understatement. Honestly, my first instinct on game days will probably always be jeans and a hoodie, but in honor of Boyfriend's first Cowboys game and our household rivalry game (Kansas/Ohio State basketball) I'm stepping my game up.
Outdoor games in December present two unique challenges: freezing cold and, when Mother Nature is being especially delightful, rain! Yippee! Not a heck of a lot you can do to be cute in those conditions. You've got two options: puffy winter coat and a super sexy plastic poncho (both of which went on after these pics were taken, but only for the fourth quarter). Things you can control are Under Armor, layers, waterproof shoes, and a bag that leaves your hands free for cheering and pretzel eating.
Stay tuned for part II, and in the meantime, I want to know what you guys wear to games! Who do you cheer for? Does football make any more sense to you than it does to me?
Cute outfit, except for the sweatshirt ;-) Usually when I go to games, I dress for the weather. I unfortunately only have a tshirt to support the Bengals, but when its tshirt weather, I rock it. I went to a game a few weeks ago and it was colder than yesterday, so I dressed in an UA shirt, LuluLemon sweatshirt, 2 pairs of pants, and some Puma shoes (plus a blanket!) And I agree with your purse selection, only the basics and something crossbody so you're not putting it on the nasty floor/can cheer for your boys!

HAHAHA ohhh I'd give you crap about the loss, but all the Bengals fans we were sitting by were so much fun! It was a great game and surprisingly great weather.
DeleteAND you guys have the best cajun fries EVER at the stadium. So freaking good!
DeleteSuch a cute outfit for a game!
ReplyDeleteMy dad and brother are HUGE Cowboys fans :-)

Here&Now
YAYAYAYAYYY! I was a little concerned about what was going to happen if we lost... we were decked out in blue & silver in SERIOUS Bengals territory. Luckily we lived! :)
DeleteMy husband and I went to a University of Michigan game a couple months back, back even in October, Michigan is icy cold. I tried to be cute! I wore a few long sleeved shirts, with my jersey on top, plus a zip up hoodie and a blazer over that. It was only going to be 60 degrees, so I thought I'd be fine. Wrong. Halfway through the game, I thought I was dying (no, I'm not a drama queen... 60 degrees is icy, right?), so I wore my husband's XXL jacket. Which was exceptionally cute. I should do a post on that outfit.
ReplyDeleteLong story short, you look cute as can be for game day! :)

GIIIIRRRRLLLLL don't let my boyfriend see this comment, he's an Ohio State grad :) I know some dirty songs about the whole state of Michigan ;) But yeah... cute's all well and good, but when you get there and you're cold, it all goes out the window!
DeleteI love the outfit, so cute! I might have to use the idea but with a University of Kentucky top :)
ReplyDeleteDon't say that too loud, I'm a Jayhawk fan and I'm still not over that loss in the championship last year ;)
DeleteThis outfit is so cute! Sometimes it can be challenging wearing sports paraphernalia and still look chic. You have definitely pulled it off!
