I'M A GINGER! AND I LOVE IT!

To be accurate I'm a purple-head, whatever that technical term is. Because a color called True Red/Pomegranate is more pomegranate than true red. So since that's not super professional/at all what I was going for (even though I lalalalalove it) I'm spending this week washing it out and toning it down so I can hopefully hit a more red/less Hot Topic color here soon. 

I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I've been dye-ing (har har har I so punny) for red hair since approximately the beginning of time.  Do you guys have any tips for getting to a fire red instead of a burgundy red? I've got crushed Vitamin C tablets, food coloring, and a new box color waiting in the wings.

And it's days like this that I come to the conclusion that blogging would be way. more. fun. if Fashion Week was my day job.

The camera's back y'all! I won't always get home early enough to take advantage of the stellar light in my little shoebox, but we'll at least sprinkle some better photography in here now and again.

I felt a little more casual on the business-casual scale than I would have liked in this outfit, but my tan blazer is in my storage trailer and this sweater is stupid comfy and the courtrooms are stupid cold. And while I really like the leather details on this skirt, it's a twister. Know what I mean? Like you look down and all the sudden your zipper is in the middle and the lining's all funky and you look like the jackass who can't fight her way out of a pencil skirt?

Also, thank you guys so much for all the congratulations but I feel like I should point out that I'm in a temporary (awesome) subleased apartment working a temporary (unpaid!) internship and so real life big-girl-dom is still a (loooong) ways off.
