OOTD | Frozen Pizza

Sweater: F21 | Shirt: TJMaxx | Tank: Target | Jeans: American Eagle | Boots: Report | Necklace: F21 | Scarf: Target

This outfit is the frozen pizza of my closet.
You throw it together because you don't really have anything else prepared (or you have three weeks of outfits prepared and none of them work IN THE SNOW, MARCH) and it's never going to be your most memorable or absolute favorite thing in the world, but it's never bad

Unless, you know, you're in a hurry and you cook it with the cardboard still on the bottom. Which I did once, to my dad's amusement. He didn't let me forget about it... until mom called a few weeks later and told me my father had something he needed to tell me. WHAT'S THAT DAD? YOU FORGOT TO TAKE THE CARDBOARD OFF YOUR PIZZA?

Anyway, there's a word for outfits like this. It's "meh." Nothing super special, nothing I'll probably repeat, but not one of those disaster days when you show up wherever you're going in an outfit that makes you want to punch babies.
...and the infants of the world lived to see another day.

Also, sorry about my face. (A phrase I should probably be using more often.) It appears that the task of standing still and being entirely in the frame and not falling over was too much to accomplish without crossing my eyes.

While you're here, be sure to check out the first post in my new Blog Dogs series! Unless you hate freedom and puppies.

  1. Seriously, your posts always make me giggle! Frozen pizza story = awesome. Something that my family would totally do.

I like that sweater, it looks SO warm and cozy. And seriously, I wish it would warm up so I can wear all the cute outfits I've been planning too!

    1. I'm actually sort of loving not having to go to work this semester (only from a getting dressed standpoint) because I'm getting so many casual looks out of my system!

  6. The outfit I'm about to post on my blog makes me feel the same way, for the most part -- meh. But I'm trying to stop feeling like my blog is a giant fashion show and more just what I wear on a day to day basis. I was in my (extensive, well stocked) closet today feeling like I literally had nothing tow ear. Which wasn't true. I just didn't have anything new to wear. I've worn everything. And I'm runnin' out of creative ways to wear what I already own. So I'm gonna have to either go broke buying new clothes constantly (a likely event) or start posting things I find to be mediocre, but are actually what I wore when I didn't think about it for 20 minutes first.

I still like this outfit. and your giant poof. <3

    1. You know what helps? And also why I've been taking all my pictures in a mirror instead of with my actual camera? Because I'm a person. Not a blogger. And my clothes aren't blog clothes they're my clothes. And that's been making me happy lately. And I'm practicing my poofs for Texas!!! ;)

  7. Well, your frozen pizza outfit is better than my frozen pizza outfit, so I guess you can feel good about that.

And I always forget if I need to take the cardboard out or not. I MEAN, DUH YOU TAKE IT OUT, but when I put it in the oven I always think, "hmm.. do I leave it on? or take it off?" and have to consult the heating instructions. I'm a smart one.
